Savory Bacon Bananas |
4 ripe bananas 8 rashers streaky bacon a bit of olive oil for basting |
Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Stretch a rasher of the streaky on a chopping board using the back of a knife. Wrap the bacon round the banana half and secure with cocktail sticks. Grill over a medium hot part of the barbecue until the bacon is crispy and the banana soft and starting to caramelise. Baste with a little olive oil if the bacon gets too dry. |
