Tangy Vietnamese-Style Marinade
2 garlic cloves; crushed
3 shallots; minced
1/4 cup peanut oil
3 tablespoon nuoc mam sauce
2 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon bouillon powder
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Makes about 3/4 cup
