Tennessee Barbeque Sauce |
1 each med. onion, finely chopped 1 each garlic, minced 2 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 1/2 cup catsup 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tablespoon jack daniel's whiskey 1 teaspoon liquid smoke 2 1/2 tablespoon cider vinegar 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 2 drop hot pepper sauce |
Saute onion and garlic in vegetable oil until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. (Makes about two cups, ideal for chicken, pork, and beef). |
