Spicy Southwestern Rice
2 cups water
1 cup raw brown rice
2/3 cup onion -- chopped
2/3 cup green pepper -- chopped
6 ounces pasteurized process cheese spread
with jalapeños -- cubed
2 tomatoes -- chopped

Combine water, rice, onion and green pepper in greased crock. Cover and cook for 4 to 5 hours. Stir in cheese and tomatoes 1 hour before serving.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
