Apple Honey Crumble Pie

| Ingredients: |

1 9" unbaked shell
6 md Apples, thinly sliced
Arrange slices in shell. Cover with following mix:
1/2 c Honey
1/8 ts Salt
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Lemon juice
Combine:
1/4 c Sugar
1/4 c Flour
1 T Shortening
1 T Butter

| Directions: |

Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes. Reduce to 350°F and bake until apples are tender.
Suggestion: An excellent pastry for above recipe is the Cheese Pastry:
2 c. flour
1 ts. salt
3/4 c. shortening
5-6 T cold water
1/2 c. grated cheese
