Vermont soda
1/2 cup maple-blended syrup
1 cup milk
2 bottles (7 ounces each) carbonated water, chilled
1/2 pint maple-walnut ice cream
Walnut halves
Maraschino cherries

Pour syrup into 2 tall glasses, stir in milk and carbonated water. Top each with two small scoops of ice cream. Garnish with walnut halves and maraschino cherries threaded onto kebab sticks.
