Bacon-and-egg buns |
4 slices bacon, halved 4 eggs Salt and pepper 2 split hamburger buns, toasted 2 teaspoon butter or margarine |
Sauté bacon until crisp in a medium-size frying pan; remove and drain well on paper toweling. While bacon cooks, pour just enough water into a second medium-size frying pan to cover bottom; break eggs, one at a time, into a cup and slip into pan; sprinkle with salt and pepper; cover. Steam slowly just until eggs are done as you like them. Spread each bun half with 1/2 teaspoon butter or margarine; top with a fried egg and two pieces of bacon. |
