Barbecued (Indoor) Country-Style Spareribs |
2 md Onions; thinly sliced 2 tb Melted buttter or margarine 1 lg Clove garlic; minced 1/2 c Celery; chopped 1 c Catsup 3/4 c ;water 1 ts Dry mustard 1 ts Salt 1/4 ts Pepper 2 tb Brown sugar 2 tb Vinegar 2 tb Lemon juice 2 tb Worcestershire sauce 3 1/2 lb Country-style spareribs |
Saute onion in butter until golden brown; stir in next 11 ingredients. Bring sauce to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes. Place ribs, meaty side up, on a rack in a shallow baking dish. Bake at 325 degrees F for about 2 hours or until well done, basting with sauce and turning every 30 minutes. Yield: 4 servings. |
