Sweet-Glazed Tofu Cutlets |
1 pound firm or extra-firm tofu 1 tablespoon light olive oil 1 teaspoon sesame oil 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup 2 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons dry red wine or sherry 2 scallions -- sliced, for garnish |
Cut the tofu crosswise into 1/4-inch-thick slices. Blot them briefly between paper towels or clean tea towels. |
